So i recently found out about smash*books & they just seem so fun that i thought i'd tell you a bit about them, and give you some ideass.
 
What is a Smash* book?

But basically what a Smash book is, is like a scrapbook, but less structured. You can put anything you want in your smashbook!
 
You can buy Smashbooks online for about $12, and there is also many different accessories you can buy as well: http://www.amazon.com/K-CompanySmash-Folio-Retro-Blue/dp/B004ZBLKC2
 
The unique thing about the Smash* book is that it comes with this super cool pen that is a pen on one side, and a glue stick on the other! How genius is that? That way it's easy to glue stuff down & write about it easilyy.
 
Don't want to buy a Smash* book for $12? Okay, just make your own! You can use:
- a journal
- a book (like a novel)
- lined/graph paper in a binder
- scapbook paper
 
If you are using paper, just hole punch everything, then when you're done, tie it all together with a ribbon! Or you can use keychain rings.

Real simple & fun, include things you are doing at the time like wearing, eating, listening, weather, wanting, needing, etc.

it could be anything; top ten foods you love, places you want to visit, favourite rides in disneyland, ANYTHING :0
 
O3. Vacation; smash
 
This is what i'm planning on making; a smash book dedicated to my trip to Mexico!
Just remember: while you're there, keep everything you can like receipts, coasters, hotel room keys, anything you can get your hands on!
Take lots of photos to print out and put in your smash book!
Also include some journaling while your there. If your book isn't made yet, just write it on a piece of paper then transfer it when you get home :)

O4. Envelopes;
 
glue envelopes or hole punch them to put extra photos, or anything else;
 
O5. Magazine clippings;
 
Do you have too many magazines that you just can't throw away? Me too.
 
Why not cut out everything you like & put it in your smash book?
 
A really fun idea would be the Ikea catalogue. Cut out the b e a u t i f u l furniture you'd love to have, and make a dream room! ♥

I used to wear my toms EVERYDAY last summer.
 
& my feet would smell so bad, and so would my shoess;;
 
that's not cute.
 
here's the best way to clean them;;
 
O1. Put your shoes in a pillow case, tie the end, and put them in the washing machine;
 
O2. Add your regular detergent, then add a half cup of baking soda
 
O3. Make sure to run it on a cold cycle;

O4. After it's done, put your nice smelling TOMS in the sun to dry. DON'T PUT THEM IN THE DRYER!

Giving yourself a trim is a great way to keep your hair healthy without having to go to the stylist too often.
 
O1. Make sure your your hair is clean, dry & combed.
 
O2. Take a 1" piece of hair & weave it through your middle fingers like in the picture
 
O3. Slide your finger down through your hair, and using small scissors, clip off any hair that sticks up.
 
O4. Continue until you've done your whole head!

Heyy, I'm Krista.
I've been on Polyvore for almost five years;
My birthday is September 12, 1994.
Which means yes, i'm eighteen years old.
I have an unhealthy obsession with a band called Allstar Weekend.
I've been to 8 of their concerts, where i met them each time (& they remember me), bought them animal hats which they wore to meet and greets, an interview & a photo on their Facebook. I've been in their tour bus, been front row to their concerts, danced onstage with them, and have over 350 photos printed out of them on my wall.
